Studio 860 photography is open for business! Other than a few little things that have to be done the studio is just about 100% put together. I still have to purchase a few more storage bins, put up some shelving in the changing/storage room, and paint the ceiling (something I keep putting off), but other than that everything is done! I'll be posting a tour soon!
I had my first session with little ones in the studio last week. It was so exciting to be in the studio with everything all set up. After years and years of either having to set everything up in my home or having to transport and set it up at a location (that's a lot of work), it all now has a home of it's own. It's so exciting every time I open the studio door to see my lights and backdrops all ready to go.
Last week I photographed a three year old and a nine month old (my favorite baby age)! The three year old was very much a three year old and wanted the photoshoot to go his way. You've got to love a three year olds tenacity, they want what they want how they want it. He was adorable, sweet and fun and for a three year old listened well!
The nine month old was on the move! She knows how to crawl and wanted to make sure I saw that. We had to have her Mom stand with her in the spot I needed her and let go at the last second so I could snap a couple of photos before she crawled away. She was fun and smiley and made my job easy. Not to mention getting to play with babies is just the best job ever!
I can't wait to have more families into the Studio 860 Photography for family photo sessions!
