Family of four in the Fall.

If you live in New England then you are used to the beautiful colors that envelope our little part of the world in the Fall.  But if you are not from around here and have never visited this time of year you would be blown away by the colors of the trees.  The reds, yellows, oranges, and even the greens all blend together to create this explosion of color.  I always say how much I love to photograph families in the summer (toes in the hot sand of the beach), but photographing with the Autumn leaves as the backdrop is something almost magical.

I recently photographed a family of four at a local farm that not only has amazing Fall foliage, but also some really cool barns and stonewalls that create the perfect photo backdrop.  This family is not new to Studio 860 Photography, I have been photographing their Connecticut family for many years now.

It was a chilly night and I knew we had to keep moving or someone might get some chattering teeth, so we made great use of the space of the farm and moved around quite a bit.  I got some great images of the family and the kids together and alone, and then I also got a few images of the parents alone, something I've been trying to do at each of my sessions, something that's easily forgotten when there are kids running around.

The session was super easy, just look at the family, they all know how to pose and how to look great in a photograph.  Even the youngest who doesn't always like to be in front of the camera gave me some great smiles and relaxed and had fun.  I love my repeat clients, I love watching the kids grow and the relationships I form with them.
