It was a foggy morning and a bit cool, for some this might have been discouraging but for me it was a challenge I happily accepted. Overcast days can actually be a photographers best friend, as it naturally diffuses the sunlight. As for the fog, that can be tricky as it can get between your subject and camera, but it can also make for a really cool background.
This session was for a super cute newly turned four year old, and his equally adorable photobombing little sister. We were at Harkness Memorial Park in Waterford, CT for his photosession. We started off by the parking lot where I spotted some long grasses and then moved into the park. There are several paths in the park that are perfect for portraits. There is also a little brick building I discovered for the first time with an amazing teal door (my favorite color).
