I recently received a client request for family beach photos (my absolute favorite) from a family of six. Getting on the beach with the sun setting and the water in the background is the best possible backdrop for any photo session in my opinion, it is really is hard to beat. So I was super excited that this family had asked to do a beach session. As part of Studio 860 Photography's custom one hour sessions, I always like to get to know a bit about my clients before a session. I found out that the family had four children, one girl and three teenage boys! First off they must be a super busy family, and second I sometimes find that teenage boys can be difficult to photograph as they usually want to be anywhere but in front of the camera. These three boys proved me wrong, they were so amazing to work with! They were laughing and happy the entire time. I couldn't of asked for anything better. And the little sister, imagine having three older brothers, she was so full of personality!
The family interaction between all the siblings and parents was so close and fun (Dad was definitely the jokester of the family). I was able to get so many images of the family that it was hard for me to whittle down to what I would present them with. I never want to give so many images that it's overwhelming for my clients when it comes time to go through their gallery and order, but sometimes it's just so hard when they truly rock their photo session!
