Over the summer I had the pleasure of photographing Taylor, a beautiful and super confident senior. She was one of my most comfortable clients in front of the camera as she attended an arts school and was used to the spotlight. We had an absolute beautiful night at the beach, the sun was shinning but it wasn't too warm, and the sunset was perfection.
We started off on one of the beaches pavilions. I often do not start a session directly on the beach since the sun is usually a bit too high in the sky. The various pavilions and dunes most beaches provide are generally my starting point in any beach session. Taylor was a pro at posing and her eye contact with the camera was on point.
We started our way down to the beach. After a quick clothing change we used the boardwalk at Hammonassett Beach for some shots, I love this boardwalk. I have used this area many times and will use it many times again.
We ended the session in the sand. We had to work around many beachgoers as the beach was quite popular that day. Taylor ended the session with some dance poses, the silhouettes at the end of the session are always (you've heard this before) my favorites.
Photographing Taylor was a blast and of course getting to work on the beach is an added bonus. Studio 860 Photography, Connecticut Senior Photographer is looking forward to photographing many kids in the class of 2019 this summer.
