Studio 860 Photography family photographer located in Killingworth Connecticut is happy to share a sneak peak of some portraits of a headshot session with a super fun teen. I was recently contacted to photograph a teen in need of updated headshots. I absolutely love teens and headshots are one of my favorite sessions as well, put them together and it was nothing but fun! I was able to use my new favorite brick backdrop as well as several others. She is super photogenic and it didn't take much to get her to smile.

Often times people feel stiff once put in front of the camera and I have been working on techniques to get them to relax for years. Whether it's to tell a joke (mine are pretty corny), make fun of myself, or to remind them that they are human and it's just me and a camera. For these headshots we worked on different poses as well as being fluid in front of the camera a bit (not standing in one posed position but moving around throughout the photoshoot).

The session took about an hour and through all the laughs and giggles we got some fabulous headshots that she will be able to use for a long time.
