Two sisters and two kittens in studio.

Kids and kittens in studio, yes please.  I was recently contacted to photograph two sisters that I have photographed several times in the past, repeat customers, my favorite!  When booking the session the mother asked if she could bring along their two new black kittens, she wasn't sure if they would behave but I was up for the challenge.  We began our session at Studio 860 Photography located in Killingworth, CT with individual images of each girl and then moved onto images of them together.  We then took out the cats, who were behaving amazingly in their carriers for their photos.  I was able to take a bunch of shots on the blue background I had set up before we decided it was time to move onto the winter backdrop.

Once the winter backdrop and set was setup we took some shots of the girls together before once again taking out the kittens.  Once the kittens were out this time we had to chase them around a bit, there were so many places for them to hide in the studio (we may have had to move a couch to get to one of them).  We did eventually catch them and moved onto photographing them with the girls on the winter set.  The winter set was something special, it was special because the kittens loved the fake snow, they just sat in it cozy and happy and I was able to get several great images before they decided it was play time again.  There were lots of laughs and smiles at the session thanks to those two little fur balls.

always encourage clients to bring things with them to their sessions that have meaning to them, pets are always welcome.
